Where do i learn skinning?

I am just starting out in skinning and leather working. How do I level up in those professions?

Alright, first go out and kill BEASTS (make sure you have a skinning knife, youn do NOT have to be wielding it) and then loot ALL of their loot. Then an option will come up on the beast's dead body saying "Skinable" or something or other. Right click it and wall-ah you can skin. ^^
