What type of group do I need to beat a heroic dungeon?

My friends and I have been trying to do heroic instances to get some loot and we can't seem to beat them. I am a 70 protection paladin and my friends are Healing druid, retirbution paladin, boomkin druid, and a shadow priest but we don't have much luck with instances. Can you please tell me how to beat a heroic dungeon?

Heroic dungeons are geat fun! With the group make up you have however, it will be nigh impossible to win. Heroic instances are heavily dependant on good tanking and healing, which you seem to have. However, the third componant needed for a solid heroic group is good Crowd Control. The only Crowd Control you seem to have availible with that set up is UD shackle, Mindcontrol, and Fear. All of these are extremely situational, and better crowd control needs to be sought. I would recomend finding a competant hunter to trap, a mage to sheep, or a rogue to sap, to add to that group.
Once you find good crowd control, I recomend 2 per run, you are set to reap the loots from these instances.
On a side note, it is important to mention that every member of a heroic group most be adequetly geared. The tank must be uncritable, and the healer must be able to keep up with the 700 - 1200 DPS (on a plate tank) mobs found in heroics. The DPS must be able to put out a lot of damage without pulling agro.
