How do you make gold with skinning?

It's really the higher level stuff for skinning that sells best on the auction house, like right now the arctic fur, borean leather, nerubian chitin, etc. I wouldn't entirely give up on it because you are still a low level for skinning. What is your other profession. Maybe you can take on mining to do while you are skinning to make a bit more. You probably wont' make much off leatherworking either, especially at a low level...

I'm on the Kargath server and I have Skinning and Mining as my main trades. Basically I would suggest that you get the Auctioneer addon from curse.com. It's a little tricky to set up but once you figure it out, skin everything and anything and build up stacks. A lot of people want to build their leatherworking up and most times their skinning is way ahead of their leatherworking, so guess where they're going for the leather? The AH! With auctioneer it scans every item and lets you put the best selling price on there so you're not too far from the highest and you'll be the lowest from the time you post your auctions. :) btw Artic fur and Nerubian chitin are a skinner's dream like the person said before me. However, artic fur is a blue and drops once so often. I posted 5 pieces of artic fur in the AH and got 309 gold for them. My advice... save those and stack them up cause you'll have a definite sale in the AH and a lot of gold for it too. :)
