When I try to log in to wow and pick a server it says connected for like 2 minutes before finally saying "You have been disconnected from the server" What can I do to rectify this problem?

sounds like a problem that is simply a server issue and not necessarily something that is wrong with your setup. I imagine this issue didn't last long, it happens to me once in a while.
