I have a training sword, it is a training sword of the tiger, two handed. I need to be trained to use it, where do I do this, and there on what is the sword actually for?

I am a level 14 warrior night elf, And when I started ' a warriors training' i found the warrior in the pub, but when the quest came up, i forgot to accept it, and now i cant finish the quest, or talk to the warrior, or talk to the warrior trainer at the start of the quest, Can anyone Help Me?

I just started my first warrior (first melee class for that matter) and was wandering, should I start with mining/skinning for the gold till level 40 or just start off with mining and engineering?
